So, if you haven't noticed, the site is completely different, updated I might add. The old one was looking a little sad, so I revamped the site and took all the old information and ported it over. I hope you all like the new look. 

 Updates will come more regularly, and so will content. I decided to go with something a little more contemporary- in net terms, modern, within the last two years. Everyone knows anything older is obsolete. 

With that being said, there are some new things I wanted to add, and somethings I wanted to remove. I wanted to simplify the site and focus more on what I love. I want to focus on writing, design, and artwork. 
  • I wanted to sleek looking sidebar that pops out when needed but stays hidden for the rest of the time. To check that out, click on the three lines above (upper left below the title). The sidebar should pop out.
  • I wanted a much simpler look. I took all my complete works and put them on one page. Each can be accessed individually by clicking on the cover, or all can be seen on my Amazon author page: just click the link titled "Author page". 
  • I did the same with my compilations and my artwork. Both can be accessed by clicking the link below the title, or in the sidebar. It feels more consolidated, it looks much cleaner, and it's simple and easy to understand.
  • I took a lot of my extraneous projects (outside of this page- links to my t-shirts, and other writing platforms) and I moved them to the bottom of the sidebar. This leaves my site looking a lot less cluttered, and of course, I will link to them often in the posts, or at least when I add something new. 

And of course, the site will evolve as I add some of the features I want.

My problem with "The Three Body Problem"...

While straggling through the wilderness of Netflix shows the other day I came across " The Three Body Problem ". I know of story, mostly of the Chinese novel   by the same name. It's on my reading list, I just haven't gotten to it yet. My list is pretty big, so I prioritize which ones I will read first. This one was high on my list, and that hasn't changed. I suspect there is more in the book than there was in the show. Normally I don't like to watch the show before I read the book, but in this case, I didn't see any good options- There's not much on Netflix I haven't seen, at least from a critical stand point. I tried AI... Again... It was as suspected.

If you haven't noticed, A.I. is all the rage these days when it comes to content creation. Art, Writing, and Music are all being flooded with A.I. driven works. And very few of them are quality. They are usually ugly things that muddy the art pool or clever mimicries of existing masters. Some people are easy to fool however- you've all seen those posts on Facebook, you know the ones, where something is just off. Then you read the comments and sure enough, it's A.I. generated. Some of the music is quite funny, some of it is a little to close to the real thing.  I have written about this before, and I am still struggling with it. I have always wanted my work to be completely original, after all I cultivated the works and the skill for years and years. It doesn't seem right that Someone can screen-cap my work then stick it into an app, craft a prompt and poof! My works originality is out there for anyone who can barely type. This post is for those of you here in the states, not my friends over seas. To the rest of the free world, I feel obligated to apologize for what comes next, because it’s not just going to affect us. It will have ripples that will change everything. This election was the “go ahead” for the Putins, the Kim Jongs, and the Victor Orbans of the world. For that, as an American, I am sorry.
